About Low Blood Pressure And How To Deal With It

By Bill Heath

Low blood pressure occurs when there is a shortage in the blood flow to the brain and other organs because of low pressure. Dehydration, heavy meals, severe infection, heart attack, heart failure, and pregnancy are common causes of low blood pressure. Some common symptoms are dizziness, nausea, blurred vision, and lack of concentration.

Home Remedies

Drink plenty of water. Dehydration causes a decrease in the blood volume, which would then lower pressure. You can keep hydrated by drinking a glass of water every hour.

Try keeping your knees flexed to bring the pressure back to normal.

Be aware that you should warm up and cool down during exercise. Avoid stopping in the middle of an exercise routine because doing so would lower your blood pressure.

You should also keep from drinking alcohol. Drink healthy juices or any non-alcoholic drinks which can make your life healthy and lot less complicated.

A person with low blood pressure can benefit from salt. You can increase your salt intake, but this increase in salt may vary from person to person.

Keep your head elevated when you sleep.

Be health conscious and do stretching exercises which helps to keep a tab on the pressure level. You can simply squeeze your fists and pump your stomach a few times.

Big meals cause the blood to go towards the digestive area, which means there is less blood supply for the other organs. Smaller meals are always better.

It's a good idea to take a walk after your eat. It helps normalize the blood pressure.

Ginseng root is said to be able to help improve low blood pressure.

Soak 10 small raisins in bowl of water overnight. Chew each raisin at least 30 times before swallowing it. Practice this for 1 month.

Take 5 pieces of almonds and soak them in water overnight. Crush and grind them to make a paste and mix it in a glass of milk. Boil the almond-milk paste. Drink it warm.
